Please join us tomorrow evening online or in person for a national webinar, where we’ll discuss the recent series of devastating typhoons that have hit the Philippines (the effects of which have been worsened exponentially by climate change and and government corruption), and the need to ramp up our People-to-People response for victims of calamities.
This year, disasters have resulted in over 3 million Filipinos displaced, over 200 deaths, and hundreds more missing—all while billions have been lost to non-existent flood control projects. The Filipino people, our families and communities, need urgent support and we aim to meet their call to action. There will be an Oregon in-person watch party in addition to the online component!
