About the event

Make friends who care about stuff at Soapbox Portland, the city’s most fun community space for climate action!

We’re having a party for people who care about the planet. Same time, same place, every week. You’re invited.

Many of us know we “””have to be prepared””” but it’s often a big chore to sit down and DO IT.

That’s why, instead of a boring workshop, we’re gonna have a disaster preparedness dinner party!

Our plan

  • 5-6PM: Chomp & chat. Grab a plant-based meal (dinner is included) and a new friend

  • 6-8PM: learn about the essentials of disaster preparedness in Portland and TAKE ACTION!

About your organizers

This event is hosted by Soapbox Project, a nonprofit that creates joyful community spaces (“vibraries”) to heal our climate anxiety and loneliness through expertly facilitated connection, learning, and action activities.
