Applications for the Native Youth Community Adaptation Leadership Congress (NYCALC) are officially open! 🎉
NYCALC is a week-long conservation leadership congress that brings together Indigenous youth from across the United States and territories to strengthen and share their identity while building skills in environmental leadership and community resilience.
The 2026 Congress will take place June 24–29 at the National Conservation Training Center in Shepherdstown, West Virginia. Applications are open from January 5 through February 27, 2026, and travel, lodging, and meals are provided.
We encourage agencies, educators, and partners to share this opportunity with eligible students and mentors in your networks.
