About the event

Text below from Rogue Climate.

Join Rogue Climate and Southern Oregon Coast Pride to watch “Can’t Stop Change: Queer Climate Stories from the Florida Frontlines”.  This documentary showing and discussion will deepen our understanding about the fight for queer liberation amidst the escalating climate crisis and oppressive legislation.
There will be raffle prizes, snacks, and opportunities to take action!
When: Friday Feb. 21st 1:30pm – 4:30pm
Where: Coos Bay Library, Myrtlewood Room
What to bring: A friend!
This film is not rated, but does include adult language, brief nudity (non-sexual – specifically a couple quick shots of topless trans bodies), and some heavy themes (e.g. homophobia, transphobia, police brutality, racism, and natural disasters). There will be support available for folks who need to step out during some scenes or who want to talk through anything. We encourage everyone to care for themselves as they need. For details on the documentary, please see: https://www.queerecoproject.org/cant-stop-change
