About the event

Neurographica and Climate Distress

This is a peer support circle to talk about all the feelings associated with the current poly crisis unfolding before our eyes, reducing the importance of the climate crisis. Facilitated by Simone Crowe and Drew Alcoser.

Neurographic Art or Neurographica, utilizes free form line drawing (neuro lines) to stimulate a connection between the conscious and the subconscious, creating new neural connections through the transformation and processing of emotions into beautiful art. Neurographic Art promotes neuroplasticity by supporting and exercising the brain’s ability to adapt and reorganize when faced with anxiety, stress, grief, or other external or internal stimuli.

All materials will be provided. Use markers, colored pencils, etc. Art therapy activity hosted by Jaden Fooks.

We will share on climate emotions as Jaden guides us through each step of creating beautiful pieces, taking turns to reflect on subconsciousness as we uncover the full experience to process, grieve, and to practice mindfulness skills to build personal resilience.

Free or donation.
