About the event

Planting Crew Leaders are trained volunteers who are crucial to planting trees and leading small group at our community planting events. Friends of Trees cannot run these events without the support of this valued position!  After your training, we expect you to help lead a crew at 3 Saturday morning events Jan-April (select for events that fit your schedule!).

Sign-up today to save your place at the training!  Space limited.

Please note: this is an all ages venue. We will be in a private room in a separate location from the restaurant/brewery.

This is an In-Person training for new Crew Leaders in the Green Space program.  Please note: trainees will need to have completed the online training before they attend this session.  The online session will be emailed to you, and you’ll have two weeks to complete it before this in-person training.

Trainees can expect to plant different root stocks, learn about tree identification, hone your inclusive leadership skills, and meet the staff you’ll be working alongside! Lunch provided, as well as a “Tree Team” tshirt!

Questions? Please visit the Planting Crew Leader webpage or contact: volunteer@friendsoftrees.org, 503-595-0213 We look forward to working with you in this important role!
