Join Knot Studio and Depave during PNW Climate Week for a conversation exploring how thoughtful design and community partnerships can transform our streets into healthier, more resilient public spaces. This open studio event will feature a fireside chat with Depave about their mission to replace unnecessary pavement with green infrastructure that improves neighborhoods, manages stormwater, expands urban tree canopy, and creates places where people can gather and thrive.

We’ll also share a behind-the-scenes look at the Future Green Plaza on Sandy, a community-driven streetscape project that reimagines Portland’s public right-of-way as a flexible civic space shaped by collaboration with members of the public and community partners like Portland Indigenous Marketplace. Learn how engagement, temporary street activations, and green infrastructure are helping create a more welcoming and climate-ready future.

Enjoy local gelato from Pinolo, tour our studio, and connect with fellow designers, advocates, and community members who are passionate about building a greener Portland.
