About the event
Join us at Remy Wines for an inspiring afternoon reconnecting with Sprout Summit working groups focused on Food, Waste, Water, Transportation, Energy, and Wild Card solutions.
We’ll tour the site of a bold, carbon-positive expansion project led by Remy Drabkin—winemaker, entrepreneur, and former Mayor of McMinnville—whose commitment to sustainability is setting a new standard in the wine industry and beyond. You’ll also hear from special guests:
- John Mead, founder of Solid Carbon, whose carbon-positive concrete was used in the winery expansion project
- Adam Rack and Keenan O’Hern, co-founders of Revino, a wine bottle reuse and recycling startup working to close the loop in the beverage industry
Sprout Summit is a community-driven initiative that brings together industry leaders, local organizations, and government to accelerate practical, place-based climate solutions for Oregon’s future. By aligning our efforts through the lens of a circular city—where resources are reused, systems are regenerative, and communities thrive—we can build momentum together.
