About the event

Every two years, Oregon’s top budget writers tour the state to hear from community members about which programs and services should be funded. With all the chaos and uncertainty being unleashed at the federal level, this couldn’t be a more critical moment.

We need Oregon legislators to step up and protect our climate now, ensuring all families have access to clean air and water, protection from wildfires and other climate disasters, and relief from sky-high utility bills — no matter what D.C. politicians do. But with a lot of priorities to balance, legislators need to hear from Oregonians like you.

There’s a lot on the line: from funding Oregon’s Natural Resource agencies, to heat pump programs, to an Ocean Resilience Package.

Oregon legislators have been cautious in saving for a moment like this — a moment that could undo decades of hard-fought climate progress if we don’t act. Already, Trump is rolling back environmental protections, exploiting our public lands, and prioritizing corporate polluters (and donors) over working families.

Now is the moment for Oregon legislators to hold the line and make our communities more resilient. We can’t afford to backslide as the planet reaches record temperatures and Oregon families struggle with rising utility bills and the constant threat of climate disaster. In Oregon, we know how to come together to do big things — from passing game-changing 100% clean energy legislation to the single largest investment in climate resilience in state history.

We need you with us again. Can we count on you to fight for our climate future and speak up at a roadshow near you?
