June 2026 ORCAH Liaison Lunch Recap

It was an excellent presentation by Soapbox Project Portland and there were hard questions asked of the Portland climate community. Here are the highlights:

• Where are there overlapping audiences and where can organizations partner?
• Can organizations with similar audiences agree to host in a cadence to avoid competing?
• How can we get community organizers into the same room?
• How do we recognize our weaknesses and find complementary partners?
• Do the resources we lack already exist?
• Can we lean into community to build a resilient and abundant future?
• Is there value in the consolidation/merger of climate organizations in Portland?
