More information

The Green Friendly Yards (GFY) Project Manager will lead the launch and implementation of the Green Infrastructure Pilot, a new green initiative developed and led by Friends of Trees. This pilot project is part of the broader Energy Friendly Homes (EFH) Program, a program operated by Evergreen Energy Partners and funded by the Portland Clean Energy Fund. Through this collaboration, Friends of Trees will integrate green infrastructure installations alongside home energy upgrades for low-and-moderate-income households across the City of Portland.

The Green Infrastructure Pilot (aka Green Friendly Yards) extends the broader program into residential yards by providing participating low-income households with free site-appropriate green infrastructure installations, which may include trees, rain gardens, native and climate-adapted hedgerows, naturescapes, depaving, and related infrastructure.

The GFY Manager will guide participating households from referral through site visit, design coordination, installation, and follow up support and maintenance, working closely with residents, contractors, and the project team to ensure successful project delivery.

Please submit a cover letter and resume to Megan Van de Mark at jobs@friendsoftrees.org by 11:59pm on Sunday, March 22, 2026.
