TRANSPORTATION ADVOCACY MANAGER

Organization: NCA works to create a healthier Oregon through the reduction of air pollution. NCA upholds state and federal air emissions regulations and advances change through community engagement with regulators, local municipalities, the state legislature, federal government, and business leaders to reduce air pollution, both from industry and the diffuse sources that adversely affect health and negatively impact quality of life in our urban centers.

Position: Neighbors for Clean Air seeks a Transportation Policy and Community Engagement professional to serve as key staff to develop, increase, and sustain community capacity to drive environmentally just policies and realize substantial gains for air quality in the transportation sector.

The Transportation Advocacy Manager will work to increase NCA’s visibility and effectiveness within multiple coalitions focused on transportation policy. NCA’s goal in particular is to build more support among partners to center air quality improvements by quickly achieving significant reductions in diesel pollution.
