Pacific Forest Trust
Portland, OR, USA
About the organization:
Since 1993, Pacific Forest Trust has created economic incentives that reward private forest owners for conserving their lands and practicing sustainable forestry. We align economic and ecological forces, integrating how people live and work with how nature works – moving conservation to the landscape scale, making it part of everyday life. We harness market forces to that of nature to create new financial returns, transforming the causes of forest loss and degradation into engines of restoration and conservation.
