Regeneration Field Institute has hosted over 1,500 students from the United States since 2016, offering hands-on learning programs. We work with partner communities in Ecuador, Panama and Peru, in Ecuador, our trips teach students about the diverse tropics, explore resource extraction, conservation efforts to protect the Amazon, and how we work to regenerate ecosystems that are on the verge of being lost. Panama features dintinct lessons from a primary rainforest just outside of Panama City and how the history both geopolitical and environmental has shaped the country, its resources and communities. In Peru, our program focuses on watershed conservation and sustainable management of resources in the highland, indigenous communities outside of Cusco. All places present countless opportunities to learn and work to regenerate the ecosystems.
